Verified Reviewer | New York, New YorkRidiculously 3 hours late delivery although paid for priority guaranteed
If I could give 0 stars, I would!
Order arrived THREE HOURS LATE!!!??? EVEN THO I paid for priority!!
It was a total pain in the butt, HORRENDOUS experience. Will NEVER shop here again.
The shopper kept asking me questions about substitutions I'd already answered and it was literally a 3-hour fiasco. Totally unacceptable.
I expect a courtesy credit back to my card of at least $45!! Or I'm reporting to BBB.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT THE WAY YOU DO BUSINESS.
Shopper claimed she had no idea that delivery was to be by 8:29.
That she could only see that she would be "in the red zone" at 9:30. Well, she was still 2 hours later than that.
What gives?
This doesn't even happen unless your systems and quality control are crap.
How is it that you guarantee someone priority delivery by a certain time and they blow it by 3 hours??
Totally absurd.
And I have our whole text chain to prove it. Of course, showing the amount of time!
And this saved complaint, so don't think I won't escalate.
Make it RIGHT.
DO WAY BETTER.

Rotten meats, fish, chicken and cheese
After I purchased rotten cheese dollar amount around $15. I put it down to a mistake.
Since then I noticed bad fish and meat. Then I notice the staff changing all the expiration dates on the fish and meat early every morning. I have see this every single morning around 8-9 am. I have thrown out at least $200 on food for the Douglaston store.
Losing the money is bad enough, but when you get ready to cook dinner and realize the food you have purchased is putrid it is incredibly frustrating having to hustle something else up for dinner.
I did speak to a worker in the fish department when I observed him changing the expiration dates. He pretended he did not speak English just after asking me what I wanted.
Food Bazaar doesn't honor coupons from wise potato chip company
Compliant
On Tuesday July 5th I walked into the Food Bazaar at 1682 St Johns Pl where I was profiled as a shoplifter , When I reached the register I realized I was short on money so I told the cashier I would put the items back after the transaction. As I left the store a security guard whom told me he goes by the name Aaron , explained to me I had to come back into the store because something was wrong with my receipt and threaten if I didn't come inside NYPD would be called as a result.
I was then confronted by an employee Tamara in which she expressed nothing was wrong with my receipt that I was stopped due to a situation from the cashier.
I was told by Tamara that the cashier verbally told me to leave the items in the cart that was in the front, which was not expressed to me and held in the front of the store humiliated and embarrassed from the scene they caused in the store. Furthermore, I have been living in this neighborhood for over 2 years now and even known to some security guards as a regular, not to mention most importantly I work for NYPD, I would like to address the racial profiling that's happening in management within this company with people from the neighborhood supporting the business.

Verified Reviewer | Mount Vernon, New YorkResolved: EBT SWIPED TWICE AND WILL NOT GIVE BACK CREDIT
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. My EBT card was credited by the EBT government department not Food Bazaar. It was showing up in their system that I was charged twice but not in Food Bazaar's system so I was credited the $82 by EBT..
- Customer service is no good
- Terrible customer service
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Always check your balance on your EBT card and if the system is down put back the groceries so you won't get charge twice.

They don't take any coupons. The store in Queens is a dump.
It smells like a slaughter house. I bought two things that were expired but only had a receipt for one.
They told me they would give me a credit that I would have to use that day. What a bunch of sc@***s.
